Frequently Asked Questions

I'm no model nor have I done this before... Do you help with posing?

First off... PERFECT!  YOU my dear are the reason why I got into this business in the first place.  I cater to our everyday modern women and have spent many many hours studying the art of posing, allowing me to create the most flattering images for everybody!  Haven't worn anything outside of a pair of yoga pants and a hoodie in a very long time?  Don't worry about it!  I've got you covered!

Do photograph men?

For my personal branding and headshots?  Yes I defintely do!  I've photographed a number of men in the real estate industry and actors.

...and I apologize that I don't show it off as much as my female clients.  But when it comes to my Intimate Portrait / Boudoir experiences, my specialty is only limited to photographing females.  There are plenty of super talented boudoir photographers around that photograph men that I would be more than happy to refer you to!

...unless your name is Ryan Gosling, Bradly Cooper or Zac Efron, then holler at me!

Where will my photo session take place? Do you have a studio?

Although I do not have a studio to call my own (one can dream), I do have a wide selection of gorgeous studio lofts and locations around the Lower Mainland for me to choose from. This allows for different options when it comes what vibe you want your images to have!  Got a sweet location in mind?  Outdoors or staying in?  I'm also more than happy and prepared to come to you!

Do I come with my hair and makeup already done?

It's not really a requirement to get all dolled up for your Beauty and Boudoir session (au natural is amazing too!), but it's always a treat to start your morning with a make over, amiright?  I work with a few talented makeup artists that will do your makeup and curl your locks on site.  This treatment is included in the Beauty and Boudoir Session fee.

For my Headshot and Personal Branding packages, although they are available if requested, it is an additional add-on.

What is your availability?  How far in advance should I book my session?

I typically book at least one month in advance as my availability is limited to weekends, therefore I book pretty quickly.  It is rare that I'm able to book a session quicker than one month, unless there has been a sudden cancellation.

What do you need from me in order to book a session?

When it comes to my headshots and personal branding session, I require a minimum of 50% to secure your booking.  For an Intimate Portrait / Boudoir session, the entire Session Fee is required upon booking.  These fees are non-refundable.

Will you use my images on your website / portfolio / social media?

As much as I would want to show the world just how amazing your images turned out and how gorgeous you are, I will not use any of your images for marketing unless I get your blessing.  I most likely will ask you for permission to use them.  My clients either give me full clearance to use any and all images from their session, some only allow me to use only the faceless, anonymous shots.  Others request that I use none at all!  My clients are most important to me, therefore whatever my client wants (or doesn't) flies.

How much retouching do you do?

Unless my client requests otherwise, I would say that I retouch responsibly.  I definitely remove blemishes and discoloration to the skin.  Perhaps brighten any dark circles underneath the eyes.  I try to keep my post-processing soft but still realistic.  Presenting the best yet true version of you.
